An overnight storm dropped a large limb-heavy silver maple across the back corner of a Detroit home. We were on site the same night to stabilize the structure and remove the tree.
The problem
The trunk was resting on the rear roof with the root plate partially lifted — any wrong cut risked shifting the load further into the house.
